Savari Utsava Seva

Savari Festival

"Sri Savaramma Devi" is pure, intelligent & powerful, protecting her devotees from different kinds of "Dosha’s" like, "Vamachara", "Kshudrabhichara" (Maata), "Mahabhichara", "Drushti Baadhe", "Kruthrima", "Anarogya", "Shathru Baadhe" after "SAVARI UTSAVA SEVA" which is also known as "SARVA SHATHRU NASHA" Pooja.

As tradition of "Savari Utsava Seva", devotees offer 5 types of Fruits, Flowers, Pathre’s (Leaves), Panchadravya, Vasthra & Navadhanya along with Pooja items & pray for all kinds of "Dosha Nivarana" which is also called as "Phalanyasa.

"Pradhana Archakaru" brings "Sri Chowdeshwari Devi’s Utsava moorthy with "Dharmadarshi’s" family to "Sri Savaramma Devi" temple before starting the Utsava seva & does "Prathishtapana" of "Baadha Moorthy" in between the "Garbha Gudi" & "Spiritual Tree" which is also called as "Shaalyanna Mudra Baadha Moorthy" with "Panju" alankara & "Dhoopa" "Deepa" "Neyvedhya" at "Garbha Gudi" followed by "Dwadhasha Arathi" & "Praakhara Shuddhi by Deevatige Arathi".

After Pooja maha mangalarthi, Devi’s Utsava Moorthy will be on "SAVARI" (Procession) with "Charma Vadhya", "Deevatige", "Khadasale", "Trishula", "Charmara", to "Bali Peetha".

Trishula & Khadasale will be holded by seva devotees in the "Savari"

"Savari" seva is an ancient seva which was started by a king who was blessed by goddess Sri Savaramma Devi & was discontinued due to generation gap. However, goddess instructed Sri. N Radhakrishna through "Deva Prashna" to re-start "Sri Savaramma Devi’s" most pleasing "Savari Utsava Seva" & from then the ritual continued till date by devotees to get relief from all said "Dosha’s" and obtain "Ishtartha Siddhi".
